Food and Drink at Forest Glade

Forest Glade Holiday Park in Devon offers food and drink options on site - we have a well-stocked shop with an off-licence and a bakery which bakes to order everyday! We also have a take away on-site if you fancy a night off cooking, visiting catering stalls in high season and there are plenty of food and drink establishments close to the park.

Our shop is open from 8.30am daily and we stock all the basic holiday essentials: from nibbles to nappies, sliced bread to sweets, mallets to milk and toothpaste to tent pegs.  Also available are pocket money toys and gifts to take home for friends and family.

Our bean-to-cup coffee machine is available during shop hours and we have a good selection of chilled soft drinks.

Why not try a local beer, cider or fruit wine from our off-licence section.  We also stock well-priced beers and lagers, wines and spirits. Chilled wine and beer is always available.

Freshly baked baguettes are available daily, along with croissants, pains au chocolate, breakfast brunchies and bacon and cheese turnovers.  We bake these to order every day especially for you so please order in advance, preferably the day before.  We can also bake for you pasties (meat, vegan and vegetarian) and sausage rolls.

At busy times freshly baked pasties, etc. are available from late morning in the hot food cabinet in the shop, although of course we are happy to cook to order at any time.

Supporting our local food producers

We stock a variety of local food and drink in the shop but why not support our local farmers and visit one of the excellent farm shops in the area.  Cullompton and Dunkeswell also have regular Farmers Markets.

Find out more on our Things to Do page.

Local food and supermarkets

We don’t have a club, bar or evening entertainment as peace and quiet is an essential ingredient of a Forest Glade Holiday.

However if you fancy a night off cooking and want to off-site for the evening then there are plenty of food and drink establishments near us so you won’t be short of places to go for a delicious meal. Check out our gourmet getaway blog or our things to do page for more information on local eateries.

There are some excellent local pubs and restaurants serving a variety of food, many of which welcome dogs.

The nearest supermarkets are in Cullompton and Honiton. There are also well-stocked post offices in Kentisbeare and Broadhembury and a convenience store with Post Office in Dunkeswell.
