Family Friendly Campsite and Holiday Park
Forest Glade is one of the best family friendly campsites and Holiday Parks in Devon. It is a great place for children to explore and play in a natural environment and make the most of the great outdoors! There is plenty to keep the little ones entertained at Forest Glade!
Family play areas
We have two separate play areas, for older and younger children. The aerial runway is great fun.
The ball games area is perfect for football or cricket. Why not leave the children to play football and try out your tennis skills on our all-weather court – racquets and balls are available from the shop or Reception. You are welcome to use the Five Acre Field for games of cricket or rounders – please just keep well away from anyone camping in that field.
We also have our indoor heated swimming pool and sauna.
Forest Glade is a safe, relaxed atmosphere for children to play in and both the ball games area and the play areas well away from park roads.
The surrounding woodland is also fun to explore and even build a den, or go quietly and try and spot some deer.
Games room and soft play
Our popular games room has table tennis, pool, table football and some arcade games and is open daily from 8.30am until 9pm. Unfortunately there is no disabled access to the room as it is on the first floor.
There is a separate soft play area and ball pool suitable for children aged 6 and under and the key is available from the shop or Reception.
Our shop
Our well-stocked shop is open daily from 8.30am. We always have a stock of swim nappies, and nappies, both sold individually, as well as wet-wipes and nappy sacks.
Caravan holidays with children
Our holiday caravans are great for a family holiday – modern and clean, with 2 or 3 bedrooms. Cots, high chairs and bed guards are available to hire free of charge – just let us know when you book.
Family camping holidays
Our camping and touring pitches are ideal for a family holiday. We have spacious, level pitches which all back onto a hedge or the forest. You can request a quiet corner or ask to be close to the play park, or pitch with friends or other family members. There’s a parent and child room in the main amenities building and an accessible bathroom at the swimming pool, both with changing tables. In the camper’s kitchen there is an electric kettle and microwave for you to use.
Campsite with swimming pool
Our indoor, heated swimming is free to guests. We operate a booking system so that there is always space to swim and enjoy the pool safely. The paddling pool is ideal for getting your little ones used to the water and the main pool is shallow and almost the same depth throughout. Both changing rooms have plenty of room to leave your clothes and a separate cubicle for family changing.
