You are very welcome to bring bicycles with you. Children can ride their bikes round the park. Although the majority of paths in the forest aren’t suitable for cycling it is possible to explore some of the forest by bike. There are some great cycling opportunities in the local area though – see our things to do section for more details. We are sorry but we are unable to provide secure cycle storage.
We have a well-equipped laundry room in the central amenities building on the park. All the machines are coin-operated and change is available from the shop or reception. Washing powder is not provided but is available to buy in the shop.
Visitors are welcome. There is a charge and all vehicles must be parked on the car park and not on your pitch.

Guests are welcome to bring and use their own barbecues and fire pits. These do need to either have legs or be raised off the ground using logs or bricks which we provide. Sorry but campfires are not allowed – they damage the grass which takes a long time to recover. Please use barbecues and fire pits safely and never take them into a tent.
We don’t provide any form of entertainment here for adults or children. Our guests prefer to make their own entertainment.
We would prefer that you didn’t book a supermarket delivery – it increases the amount of large vehicles visiting the park and we cannot accept your shopping if you do not arrive before the delivery vehicle. Supermarket delivery vehicles are not allowed on the touring or camping fields and must be met at Reception.
This is due at least one month before the start of your holiday or immediately if you book less than a month in advance.

Forest Glade is an ideal location for a holiday with your pet as we are surrounded by acres of forest with lovely walks. Some of our holiday caravans are pet-friendly and we take dogs on all our camping and touring pitches. There is an additional charge for dogs. All we ask is that you keep your dog on a lead at all times whilst on the park, keep it off the furniture and beds in the holiday caravans and clear up after your pet. Please note that we do not have a secure exercise field for dogs. Information about bringing your pet on holiday can be found here.
