Sidmouth in Devon offers the perfect blend of coast and country. Stunning beaches, rural countryside and the town’s warm and friendly community atmosphere combine to create a top tourist destination on the Devon coast.

Do as much or as little as you like in Sidmouth. You can explore the dramatic cliffs along the South West Coast Path taking in the fresh coastal air or visit a range of family attractions. The Devon town is home to some of the most unique festivals which take place annually.

A variety of tourist attractions are within easy touching distance. Take a relaxing stroll in one of the lovingly maintained gardens or visit one of the local museums. If the local history and geology is of interest you’ll enjoy browsing collections of Jurassic Coast fossil exhibits or taking a guided town walk. The Donkey Sanctuary is one of the most popular in Devon and comes highly recommended.
