Woodland Adventures
Whether you are aged 2 or 82 a walk through the woods is a great experience. There are a number of ancient woodland walks to discover in the Blackdown Hills or if you want to stay close-by there are no shortage of routes available in and around the park itself – the clue is in our name! Younger visitors can enjoy running through the fallen leave, building dens, rope swings and climbing trees.
Less People – More Space
Book a stay with us in the autumn months and you’ll experience a quieter time at Forest Glade. With fewer visitors on the park, you’ll have more space for your family spread out and enjoy. Book your holiday in September, October or early November and you will avoid the busier times and benefit from greater social distancing.
Indian Summer Weather
We are blessed with some of the warmest weather in the country. This trend can continue into the autumn months meaning that especially during September you can still enjoy outdoor games, barbecues and alfresco dining. We’re only a short drive from the coast, so you can take in the fresh sea air on your days out.
If the weather does become inclement however, then head in to our heated indoor swimming pool and enjoy a splash in the pool rather than in rain puddles.
Autumn holiday deals
Everyone likes a bargain and there are deals to be had at this time of year. In the autumn months our prices are more affordable giving you more money in your pocket to spend on meals and days out whilst on your holidays. Or you may choose to extend your break at our park.
Families with younger children can take advantage of our preschool discount scheme. We offer free accommodation for pre-school children outside school holidays – bring a family of 4 and only pay the 2-3 person rate. Another great way to save you money on your holidays with us.
