Forest Glade Holiday Park is located between Cullompton and Honiton in the heart of Devon, set within a forest clearing on the Blackdown Hills – a National Landscape (formally an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). The park is an AA 4 star park, which has been family run for nearly 50 years. We offer some of the best caravan and camping holidays in Devon and are a perfect UK staycation destination.
The park provides a variety of accommodation options including holiday caravans, camping pods and also a self-catering apartment. Also offered are level sheltered camping and touring pitches, which are set in spacious fields and surrounded by 300 acres of pine forest.
Forest Glade Holiday Park is the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday or an out of season break. Find peace and tranquillity and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life! There are numerous outdoor activities to enjoy in the area. Get back to nature and enjoy the beautiful forest setting and surrounding countryside. Come and experience camping in the forest with us.
Our park opening dates for 2026 are 20 March – 15 November.
We welcome couples and families. Due to the location of the park, the facilities we have and our guest demographic we are not a suitable holiday destination for groups of young people, hen or stag parties. We are unable to accommodate contractors.
Our Facilities
There are a variety of facilities and amenities available at Forest Glade to ensure you have a fun and stress-free holiday.
We have a covered heated swimming pool, sauna, tennis court and a Games Room for all the family to enjoy. We also have two children’s play areas to keep the little ones entertained and an indoor soft play area (suitable for children under 6). All our facilities on the park are free to use (except for the Games Room).
You can enjoy forest walks direct from the park and a self-guided nature trail around the grounds.
Peace and tranquillity is an important ingredient of a Forest Glade Holiday. We do not have a bar, clubhouse or evening entertainment. Evenings can be spent enjoying quality family time! Perhaps having a BBQ or gathered round a fire-pit relaxing and enjoying some stargazing!
There are several excellent local pubs in the area, the nearest being 2.5 miles away if you do wish to venture off-site to enjoy an evening meal.

Caravan Holidays in Devon
Forest Glade offers self-catering holiday caravans for weekly stays and short breaks. We have five types of holiday caravans available, which sleep up to 6 or 8 people. The Caravans are fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Some of our caravans are pet-friendly.
Touring and Camping Holidays in Devon
We welcome touring caravans, motor homes and tents of all sizes. Many pitches have electric hook-ups and we also have hard standing and grass pitches available. We have all the camping facilities you would need including hot showers, a campers kitchen and laundry room.
Glamping in Devon
We have glamping pods available for those guests who wish to have a few more creature comforts and not have to worry about setting their tent up on arrival. Our camping pods are a cosy alternative to traditional camping and you can just turn up, unpack and relax!

We have been coming to this site for 44 years and never been disappopinted. If you want peace and quiet and enjoy walking in the woods, this is ideal. Also great for family holidays.Plenty of things for families to do apart from walking. Swimming pool, play area, games room, grassed area to have a kick around.

Lovely rural caravan and campsite. Very pleasant staff and great service. A lovely caravan for a short break stay away with the grandchildren. Swimming pool, play area and games room onsite. Hope to return.

I stayed here for a weekend as extended family were camping here. I actually booked the flat which was clean and well equipped and comfortable for the weekend, so I wasn’t really camping😜 The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a well stocked on site shop of competitively priced items. There are also food options and coffee available, so take advantage of these if you want to skip cooking😜 I would definitely recommend the site. There is a pool and sauna available. Although camping is not something I have done for years my glamping trip to this site to catch up with my cousins was great.

Booked for two nights in one of there glamping pods for my birthday, and what a lovely stay it was so peaceful and quiet, the area is absolutely gorgeous and the views are stunning! The forest surrounding the holiday park itself was such a lovely area to explore, cannot wait to go back again later on in the year!

An absolute gem of a campsite! Beautifully located in the forest with great facilities. As ever, people make all the difference. The staff at Forest Glade are just exceptional. This is our favourite campsite in Devon. If you want a nice break from everything, I recommend you visit Forest Glade.

We enjoyed a family holiday to Forest Glade and were so impressed with the site, amenities, swimming pool, everything. Everything is just what you need. The games room is a great addition and especially keeps the teenagers happy. Shop is handy and the take away evening and breakfast food is a treat and welcome addition. We'd love to come back for a return visit

Caravan and camping park set in a wooded area, great for walks. Indoor swimming pool and sauna. On site shop with a good range of products. Also offers a good choice of take away foods and cream teas. Staff very friendly. Site was clean and well tended. Toilets and shower blocks looked clean, laundry available on site. Enjoyed our stay with 4 little ones who enjoyed the play area.
