Yeovil is a significantly sized South Somerset town with much to offer visitors. Uncover a rich and fascinating history, and browse one of the best shopping centres in this part of the country. There are more than enough attractions to see in a day visit, and you may need longer!

The pedestrianised shopping area references the town’s Roman roots in its name, the Quedam. Home to many well-known high street retailers, as well as major department store. Yeovil also boasts a wide selection of specialist shops and outdoor markets.

Despite becoming more commercial in places, Yeovil remains a country town. If you’re looking to retreat to some of the more rural parts of the town there are several accessible routes into the countryside to the south of the town.

The town is home to some of the most iconic museums in the country. The Montacute Museum  is a wonderful showcase for TV and radio nostalgia. Along with the Haynes International Motor Museum and Fleet Air Arm Museum – which displays one of the largest collections of cars and aircraft anywhere in Europe.
